Presentation Abstract

Compliance with LBRS Standards- An In-House Effort

Shoreh Elhami, GISP, GIS Director, Delaware County Auditor's Office

Thursday, September 11, 2008 - 3:25 PM - Track 3

Delaware County maintains current GIS datasets including a detailed street centerline and point address layers. These layers were assembled over a decade ago and before LBRS standards came into existence. However, due to the importance of having state wide seamless datasets, the county decided to put in the time to comply with LBRS standards. As a result, earlier this year, the County conducted a pilot project to find out if the entire process could be performed in-house. The County GIS team will explain the compliance procedure and the pilot project in detail.
